Delete Your Account & Data

You have the right to delete your GlowUpKit AI account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to do that and exactly what gets removed.
1. Preferred Method: Delete In-App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app. The deletion is processed immediately.
- Open the GlowUpKit AI app.
- Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation).
- Tap Profile, then scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
2. Alternative Method: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:
- Email support@glowupkit.app from the email address registered to your account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my account
- We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
3. What Is Deleted
When your account is deleted — whether in-app or by email request — the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

| Profile | Onboarding quiz answers (age range, ethnicity, skin concerns, beauty goals) |
| Selfie photos | All photos you uploaded for analysis, stored in our private storage bucket |
| Generated images | All AI-generated before/after glow-up images created from your photos |
| Scan history | All color season results, skin analysis scores, makeup guides, and skincare routines |
| Subscription data | Your subscription tier record held in our database (payment records remain with Google Play / Apple) |
4. What May Be Retained Briefly
After deletion, the following limited data may be retained for a short period:
- Aggregated, non-identifying analytics: Anonymized usage counts (e.g., total number of scans processed per day) that cannot be linked back to you are retained for up to 90 days for service improvement.
- Legally required records: If required by applicable law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax compliance, or records required by a lawful order), we may retain the minimum necessary data for the period required by law.
We do not retain your photos, generated images, or identifiable personal data after deletion.
5. Active Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through your app store before deleting your account:
- Google Play: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → GlowUpKit AI → Cancel subscription
- Apple App Store: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GlowUpKit AI → Cancel subscription
Refund requests for any unused subscription period are handled by the app store under their respective policies.
